For 60 and start of 70 years bachata was "the music of the poor persons". The typical instruments of Bachata are the guitar, the electric bass, güira and bongó. Now bachata is very popular in República Dominicana, United States, Puerto Rico, Panamá, Colombia, Venezuela and Cuba. One of the most famous singers of Bachata is Prince Royce. He was born the 11th of may to 1989 in Bronx, New York, United States. His real name is Geoffrey Royce Rojas. His fathers names are Anglea Rojas and Ramon Royce.
